Coca Leaf Reading

Our Inca ancestors created sacred ceremonies to maintain harmony between the natural and spiritual worlds, providing support during times of transition, healing, or important life decisions.
At WAYRA QEROS, we offer these ancestral rituals to restore balance in body, mind, and spirit—using traditional methods that strengthen the connection with Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the Apus (sacred mountain spirits).
Rooted in Andean wisdom, our ceremonies help ease spiritual unrest, offering guidance and renewal to those seeking peace and clarity on their life path.

Description

Each consultation begins with a personal interview and a guided session led by a Paqo master shaman, who will ask the sacred coca leaves to offer their wisdom and guidance. This process helps identify areas of your life that require attention and healing, allowing you to access strategies that foster overall well-being.

The Qero Paqo master will use this time to determine which energy medicine techniques, if any, are most appropriate for you. The coca leaf—considered sacred—acts as a bridge between you and the spiritual world, facilitating an exchange of energy and wisdom.

The insights revealed through the reading not only provide guidance to avoid harmful decisions or unfortunate events, but also offer a way to release heavy energies (hucha) that may be causing emotional or physical imbalance. You will receive practical alternatives and solutions to help restore harmony in your life.

Sessions can be held at your hotel in Peru or via online video call, making this powerful healing tool easily accessible and convenient wherever you are.

Ceremony Itinerary

Opening Prayer and Invocation

The ceremony begins with a sacred prayer, where the Qero shaman calls upon the higher spirit of Mama Coca and the spirit of Pachamama. This invocation creates a respectful and connected space, forming a sacred bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds to support communication and understanding.

Coca Leaf Selection and Interpretation

Following the invocation, the shaman carefully selects the coca leaves to be used. The reading begins with an interpretation of their shapes, positions, and energies. Each pattern holds a personal and symbolic message, reflecting the life circumstances of the seeker and offering insight into favorable or unfavorable paths ahead.

Private, Respectful Setting

The ceremony is held in a private, respectful space to ensure confidentiality and a deeply personal experience. If you speak English or another language, a spiritual guide will assist with translations so you can fully understand the messages and wisdom shared during the reading.

Wisdom and Personalized Guidance

Throughout the session, the Paqo not only interprets the coca leaves but also offers personal wisdom and advice on how to integrate the messages into your daily life. This shared dialogue provides space for reflection and helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Closing the Ceremony

The experience concludes with a ceremonial closing, which may include an offering to Mama Coca and Pachamama, expressing gratitude for the wisdom received. This final act strengthens your connection to the Earth and the spirits, reminding you to live in harmony with nature and from a place of love and respect.

Time

The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours.
After booking, we can also coordinate the schedule with you.
