Soul Retrieval: A Journey Toward Healing and Wholeness

Our Inca ancestors created sacred ceremonies to maintain harmony between the natural and spiritual worlds, providing support during times of transition, healing, or important life decisions.
At WAYRA QEROS, we offer these ancestral rituals to restore balance in body, mind, and spirit—using traditional methods that strengthen the connection with Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the Apus (sacred mountain spirits).
Rooted in Andean wisdom, our ceremonies help ease spiritual unrest, offering guidance and renewal to those seeking peace and clarity on their life path.

Description

Soul retrieval is an ancestral Andean practice that allows for the healing of deep emotional wounds caused by trauma or difficult life experiences. In the Andean worldview, the soul can fragment when we go through intense pain or suffering, resulting in feelings of disconnection, emptiness, and loss of purpose. Through this sacred ceremony, the reintegration of these lost parts of the soul is facilitated, restoring wholeness and balance on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

This practice is more than a healing ritual—it is a transformative process that helps us release the weight of past traumas, reconnect with our authentic self, and find a renewed sense of direction in life. With the guidance of a Maestro Paqo, the soul retrieval ceremony offers a path toward liberation, empowerment, and alignment with the universe.

Ceremony Itinerary

Opening the Sacred Circle

The ceremony begins by creating a sacred space with offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (spirits of the sacred mountains). This opening is essential to invoke protection and the presence of spiritual guides who will accompany the healing journey.

Energy Cleansing

Before the soul journey begins, a purification of body and spirit is carried out using medicinal herbs, smudging, and agua florida (floral water). This step prepares the participant by clearing heavy energies (hucha) that could block the healing process.

Soul Retrieval

Guided by the Maestro Paqo, the participant enters a deep meditative or trance-like state, allowing a spiritual journey to the realms where fragmented soul parts reside. The intention is to locate and call back the soul fragments that were lost due to trauma, reintegrating them into the body.

Integration

After the retrieval, a space for rest and reflection is provided so the participant can absorb the healing energy and reintegrated soul parts. The integration process is essential to ensure the healing is complete and lasting.

Closing

Finally, the sacred circle is closed with words of gratitude, giving thanks to Pachamama, the Apus, and the protective spirits for their assistance. The participant leaves the space with a renewed sense of peace, having reestablished inner balance.

Time

The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours.

Soul retrieval is a deeply transformative ceremony that reconnects us with our essence, freeing us from trauma and emotional burdens.
