Property Cleansing and Blessing: A Sacred Ritual for Harmony and Well-Being
Our Inca ancestors created sacred ceremonies to maintain harmony between the natural and spiritual worlds, providing support during times of transition, healing, or important life decisions.
At WAYRA QEROS, we offer these ancestral rituals to restore balance in body, mind, and spirit—using traditional methods that strengthen the connection with Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the Apus (sacred mountain spirits).
Rooted in Andean wisdom, our ceremonies help ease spiritual unrest, offering guidance and renewal to those seeking peace and clarity on their life path.
The cleansing and blessing of homes and land is an ancestral ceremony practiced in the Andes, intended to restore the energetic balance of the spaces where we live and work. Through this sacred connection with Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits), the ritual seeks to attract protection, well-being, and prosperity for those who dwell in the space. This ceremony not only purifies the environment but also transforms it into a sanctuary of peace and abundance, establishing a harmonious flow of energies between nature and human beings.
By cleansing the space of heavy energies (hucha) and blessing it with natural forces, the ritual creates an environment that supports personal, family, and community growth. The ritual is guided by a Maestro Paqo, a guardian of Andean wisdom, who facilitates the energetic transformation process.
Opening the Sacred Circle
The Maestro Paqo begins the ritual by creating a ceremonial space, offering coca leaves and other sacred gifts to the Apus and Pachamama. This opening is vital to invoke the presence of protective spirits and establish an atmosphere of reverence and sacredness.
Energy Cleansing
A deep purification of the space is performed using smudging rituals, sacred plants, and agua florida (floral water). During this step, the Maestro Paqo removes any dense or negative energy that has accumulated, freeing the space from disruptive or conflicting influences.
Invocation of Blessings
With the energy of the place renewed, the spirits of the Earth and the ancestors are invoked to bring protection, prosperity, and abundance to the home or land. This invocation ensures the space is aligned with the positive forces of nature.
Offering to Pachamama
A special offering is presented as an act of gratitude to Pachamama, asking for her continued blessing and harmony within the space. This sacred act strengthens the connection with Mother Earth and her loving protection.
Closing the Ceremony
The sacred circle is closed with words of thanks, sealing the space energetically so that positive energies may flow continuously. The Maestro Paqo concludes by ensuring that the home or land remains in balance and full of blessings.
The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours.

This Andean ritual not only purifies and cleanses the physical space but also renews its vital energy, inviting abundance, divine protection, and prosperity. Through the connection with Pachamama and the Apus, it ensures that the home or land becomes a place of peace, balance, and well-being for all its inhabitants. By honoring the Earth and ancestral forces, this ritual creates a deeper union between humans and nature, allowing us to live in harmony with our surroundings and with ourselves.
